Professor
Dr. Miller is passionate about the Bible as God's Word and its relevance for today. He has served as a seminary professor of Old Testament and Hebrew language for almost 40 years. He taught primarily masters and doctoral courses but also college courses as well. He is the translator of the book of Daniel for a leading Bible version (CSB). Professor Miller has made several trips to Israel and traveled to other Bible lands (Egypt, Italy, and Greece). He participated in an archaeological excavation in Israel.
Author
His many publications include commentaries on Old Testament books and numerous articles for journals, dictionaries, and Sunday School literature. He and two of his colleagues have self-published a Hebrew grammar used on the masters and college level. A link in the Store tab includes links for those who wish to purchase these works. The published and unpublished articles as well a host of other resources (videos) by Dr. Miller will be made freely available on this website. His goal is to share God's Word with the world. Practical
Practical application of the Bible is essential. Dr. Miller has served as a senior pastor, interim pastor, and Bible teacher in many churches. He also taught an Old Testament course to pastors in Russia. His heart is for all the world to hear the wonderful saving message of Jesus Christ.
Prophecy
No one knows when Jesus will return, but the Bible does give signs so believers can recognize that Christ's return is near. These signs seem to be upon our generation. Dr. Miller has studied Bible prophecy extensively. He has taught the Old and New Testament prophetic books in the churches and/or classroom for decades. He has written popular commentaries on the key prophetic books of Daniel and Zechariah and taught the book of Revelation many times in the churches. Thus, this site will also share much about Christ's return and the end times.
